Abstract:
This article shows
how some recent developments in the
observation and theoretical modeling of weak
polarization signals in chromospheric spectral lines
are facilitating fundamental new advances
in our ability to investigate the magnetism of the
solar outer atmosphere via spectropolarimetry.
