Title: Do stellar X-ray observations provide evidence for solar-like cycles?
Abstract: Utilizing 10 years of Yohkoh X-ray data, spanning a complete solar cycle, we simulate the statistical properties of a solar-like star. Predicted fluxes in a number of instrumental band passes are derived from the observed Yohkoh temperature and emission measure distributions. This allows us to examine the potential cyclical nature of stellar X-ray variability, as determined from astronomical observations of stellar coronae.
